4. Very much the right move, just not handled the best. McDermott gets small in the big moments, it's why he's never one an overtime game. Best team in NFL history to not make a super bowl, 6 straight seasons wining at least 1 playoff game. Only 3 other teams have done that and in their respective 6 years window they each won 3 titles. Has to be some fundamental issues. We turned into a running team with the best qb in the game. We play a light defense designed to get turnovers, however playoff teams usually don't give up the ball and the lighter defense is by definition injury prone.

8. New England passing them in the standings and being solid with a qb to coaching staff I think made them have to pull that trigger . They were guaranteed the division for years not the case anymore .

12. This shows the difference between someone dialed-into the team and talking heads opining on things from afar. The decision to fire McDermott wasn't a knee-jerk reaction: it's been building since 2 years ago and 13 seconds. How many more years do you give him to get them to the SB, especially when they were favored to win it all this year and didn't even get there?

16. Sal, guess you refuse to believe that Keon was Beane's pick. When all the pre-draft video shows that Beane was gitty about it! He was Bean's pick, not the coach's. Terry gives his yes man a raise, on the same day he fires his coach. Really, nothing too see here? I already feel sorry for Buffalo's next coach with a owership group as horrible as PSE. Had Trump won the Bills bid. There would be Super Bowl trophies there by now. Time for Pegula to do the right thing and sell this team.
