    McCarthy was fired by dallas because he and his qbs choke in the playoffs.

  9. One thing I did disagree with you on was saying Jerry Jones fleeced us for Pickins. We were not getting better than a 3rd round pick from anyone else. Plus, say we had kept Pickins, the season would have turned out exactly the same and with our bad offense not getting him the numbers he wants and new coach, etc coming in, there is no way in hell he would have resigned with us unless we MASSIVELY overpaid him. So I'm perfectly happy with the extra, higher than our own, 3rd round pick.

  11. Look, how can Pittsburgh fans bitch about Mike McCarthy! We have 11 early draft picks,we have some good players coming back, if we are lucky Aaron comes in for another year! We get rid of the waste! And we have Will Howard and Aaron can develop him ! Chill people at least Mr. MEDIOCRETY is gone! Give him a chance and let it play out!

  12. Art Jr is a cheapskate. The Steelers notoriously don’t pay their coaches and they don’t like to pay big salaries in general. Cheap cheap cheap. No analytics. No thinking of the future. Bad facilities that we have to share with a college team? I’m a diehard fan but this has caught up with them and now it’s just depressing. This was a disheartening hire. I can’t blame Mike T for leaving. Ownership is not keeping up with the league.

  20. MM and Tomlin very similiar in big egos and never want their assistant coaches to outshine them.
    If MM can get the best assistant coaches and let them do their job. This means give them the freedom
    to shine and demand AR to pay them to keep them here. Then maybe he can go farther in the playoffs
    than MT.

  21. What if Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy had the gumption to cheat the game like Brady and Belichick? That just may put Rodgers even further ahead than Brady….if we're talking just Superbowl rings. If we're talking just pure talent….Rodgers is at the pinnacle.

    Let's say we had McCarthy last year (2025) and our offense finished in the top 3rd of the league versus the bottom 3rd of the league…
    Do we beat the Texans?
    Are we still playing?

    Tomlin was a fraud and there's no mistaken McCarthy will improve the offense.

    Lastly…
    Remember this about the NFL…
    Although it feels like we're light years from the top teams but in reality you're never that far away in the NFL.

    We shall see

  26. 💥💥 im not a steelers fan but y'all will be alright. y'all will go to 12-5 or 13-4 and lose in the first round of the playoffs. Also what did Aaron Rodgers win without Mike McCarthy. if memory serves me correctly after Mike McCarthy left Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers won 13 games 3 years in a row and two times they were the number one seed in the NFC and they choked each time in the playoffs.

    I mean Mike McCarthy did go 12-5 the Dallas 3 straight years.

    In the end of the day Mike McCarthy is no different than John Harbaugh, Sean Payton, Mike Tomlin these coaches that won Super Bowls over a decade ago and have lots of wins but they can't get back to the Super Bowl.

    But like I said at least Pittsburgh will have better records under Mike McCarthy than they did under Tomlin
