he might get picked earlier, but what’s the general consensus here on drafting Lemon if we have the chance?

  1. Love him.  Very smart player.  Great acceleration and YAC ability.  You don’t need to be huge to be an excellent WR.  Garrett Wilson is also 5’11”.  Antonio Brown is 5’10”.  Odell Beckham is 5’11”

  2. 49ers might need a big boy out there was wr1. Might fit Purdy better. Who can or get separation. Mikai is likely top 10-20 draft pick.

  3. Watched him his entire career at SC. He’s and absolute stud. Can get open at will and makes tough contested catches as well. If he’s there you take him 100%.

  4. He is amazing but if u want a usc wr get lane in a later round makai might become everything jsn is now but he operates out of the slot.

  5. On of the best WRs in the draft. Insane talent. Insane hands.

    Watched him all season.

  6. I think the 49ers need bigger playmaker types that create mis matches.

Also need to start thinking about kittles replacement.

  7. Arent we supposedly going after Addison? We need lineman on both sides of ball and LB depth

  8. What’s the point, kyle will just red shirt him anyway so we won’t if he’s good enough until the 2027-2028 season.

  9. 1. No way it’s he taking in the draft all the way to 27 where we pick.

    2. He is to small to be an outside reciever. He will have a great career as an inside guy, but we already have that on the roster. This team needs an outside guy that can stretch the field to keep defenses honest. Not only is this guy not that, there isn’t anyone available in the draft where we will be picking from and we got too many holes to fill to be able to trade up.

  10. We need veteran receiver and we need a better RB who can take 10-15 snaps away from MC 💯

  11. While a great option, can Kyle and John please just improve both lines. Staying with OL.

    Need protection + sacks

  12. If Kaydyn Procter is available at 27 I don’t care if he has some issues with 3-4 speed rushers, you take him. This team as exceptionally coached as it is doesn’t draft enough physically imposing talent. With Trent Williams on retirement’s door, I want another road grader on the team learning from a generational talent at the tackle spot. Our entire team’s scheme depends on us being able to run, and we were as bad as I can remember despite our team success. Run the ball, stop the run, get pressure with 4 down linemen, play sound zone. It’s not an easy philosophy, but it’s our tenets to success

  13. Almost want defense, just in case. Can’t be too bad as far as WRs go though since we can use another upgrade offensively. Definitely a lot of non-QB selections coming off earlier than we pick though since this isn’t that great of a QB class and most will ride with what they have or take a flier on a project later.

  14. We need a physical receiver that can beat press coverage. Shanny’s scheme relies way too much on shifty types and while it does work well for the most part it’s also the reason why we get our teeth kicked in when we play physical defenses.

Good defenses have figured out that if you just line up and manhandle our receivers there really isn’t anything they can do about it because aside from JJ they’re all pipsqueaks. Basically, we need a stronger and faster version of Jauan Jennings and while I don’t know if one exists in the draft, there is a solution out there in the form of AJ Brown.

Yea, he’s a little bit of a diva but what receiver isn’t?

A presence like that would go a long way toward opening things up for the other guys.

  15. Man let’s get Atleast two rookie receivers and develop them and maybe a vet WR and we should be good to go
