This is genuinely my worst nightmare slowly revealing itself, I thought it was over when Brady left to Tampa. I will never speak badly of the Seahawks Organization ever again if they stop this from happening.

  1. Yep, Steelers Nation better be cheering for the Seahawks. The idea of the Patriots overtaking us in Super Bowls sickens me beyond words.

  7. Patriots barely beat a backup QB today and looked rough well before the blizzard hit in Denver in the 2nd half.

    Unless the Seahawks oversleep and get to the stadium late, Seattle hoists the trophy.

  8. This is pretty much how I decide who to root against in any Superbowl not featuring the Steelers – start from the top left, and work your way right and down until you hit one of the teams playing that year

  15. Maybe we should have won a Super Bowl in the last 16 years if we didn’t want the Pats to surpass us. Instead we held onto Tomlin for 7 seasons too long and just brought in McCarthy to keep up our Jeff Fischer era. The NFL has passed the Steelers’ outdated thinking by and we need to accept that.

    There’s a lot of teams I actually like, and when Pittsburgh plays them, I say some horrific shit.

  23. Who gives a damn… I’ve seen so many posts regarding the Pats possibly getting 7, why are so many fans worried about THIS? Why don’t we worry about getting to another Super Bowl, hell, maybe winning a playoff game or even just being a LEGITIMATE contender.

  25. I did not see an AFC team on either side of the ball that could beat the Seahawks. Rest easy. I predict a boring beatdown, like Cowboys-Bills or Niners-Chargers. I remember the shitty Superbowl beatdowns of old times.

  28. Pathetic that Tomlin had all those years with talent and the Steelers themselves couldn’t prevent this from happening.

  29. Awful. All 4 teams that played yesterday won a SB more recently then we did, rebuilt, and made it back to to the conference title game at least, all while the Steelers were finding short term patches to fill gaps so they could win 9 or 10 but not actually get any better.

  31. It’s hard to even care about this stuff at this point. Why should I continue to give any mental energy to a team that clearly doesn’t care about getting back to a Super Bowl. If the Pats get #7 it will be because they have been the better run franchise

  35. This is the worst AFC Champion I’ve ever seen. They would be the 5th best team in the AFC last year.

    And Maye is the most overrated QB in a long time.

    QB play must really be down across the league if he passes for an MVP candidate.

    BUT, since it’s the Patriots and Robert WitchKraft we’re talking about, I wouldn’t be surprised if they “find a way” to beat Seattle.
