Geno Malkin got his shoulder bumped on the bench and collapsed in pain. A shoulder injury kept 71 out 15 games earlier this season

  1. Shows that he probably came back from injury no where close to 100% healthy.

Shit at 20 years in the league 100% healthy probably is a nonexistent thing. Hate the Pens and Malkin, but gotta respect the love of the game to keep pushing through it when he already has his name on the cup 3 times

  2. This is so confusing. I can’t understand what would possibly be so damaged in his shoulder to cause this reaction but he could still play hockey? Something else must have happened. Maybe he got his foot stepped on somehow?

  3. Its already been reported from Muse that he’s not hurt and okay.

Pretty sure he’s playing a joke with Mantha here.

  4. If you have ever separated your shoulder it is never the same. Even the slightest bump from the back of the shoulder can cause it to separate again and re-tear the rotator cuff. I had to quit playing Rec hockey because this happened to me twice (after the original separation) in a year and both times it was my own teammate. Without NHL level medical care, this had me at work with my arm in a sling twice for an extended period, so it wasn’t worth losing work over. Unless you have sustained this injury you cannot understand how easy it is to re-aggravate.
