Do you think that the Pittsburgh Pirates should bring back the pillbox caps?

  1. I don’t know but “rippin’ cigs in the dugout” needs to return expeditiously

  2. As a kid in the 80s, those were no fun to wear. Was thrilled when they switched back in ‘87.

  3. I think the Dodgers should do this. That way, I can listen to people cry even more about how they are ruining baseball.

  4. I think they’re awesome but no, it seems better as one of those iconic artifacts of a past era.

  5. Things needed to restore the Pirates to their glory years:

    1) Pillbox hats

    2) Iconic yellow/black uniforms

    3) Heroic amounts of cocaine

  6. I think we need to bring back rippin darts, or vaping in the dugout.

To take it a step further, I think players should be able to rip darts on the field.

  7. I have 2 copies of this picture autographed by both Dave Parker and Grant Jackson (sitting behind him). Grant wouldn’t sign it until I said that I belived him that he was just ‘biting his nails’! I couldn never tell who was to the left and right of Jackson. But, it is one of my favorite all time photos. Look at the dugout wall, it screems 12-year old community rec ball field.

And to answer the OP’s question – I don’t like the pillbox hats, so no.

  8. I was never a big fan of the pillbox hats for players every day. As a part of their City Connect or throwback unis, absolutely. I think it would be cool for maybe home games on Sundays or something.

  9. How about bringing back the cancer sticks to the dugout. I’m sure a few guys want a smoke or two during the game.
