1. First, i enjoy the show. LGM. Second, I disagree with the Zag Gallen take. As a diehard Mets fan who moved to AZ for a bunch of years, i followed him closely. Yes, last year was a bad year. And he still had a positive WAR. At his best, hes a 5+ WAR pitcher with good underlying metrics. At worst, hes a mid 2’s to 3 WAR pitcher who is durable. Hed be a fantastic number 3-4 pitcher for the Mets at the right price

2. I'll take a chance on Zac Gallen being a my #3 than David Peterson. His numbers might be trending downwards but he's durable and pitches 190+ innings, which is important as the Mets rotation needs length.

7. If the Mets add to the rotation, it will be from the lower end of the market. Like a reunion with Canning or Quintana.

8. I hope they sign either Lucas Giolito or Jose Quintana to a one year, incentive laden deal. Or, better yet, sign both, and trade Senga.

9. I think 💭🤔🧐 that they should be interested because it is a strong possibility that 😮 this pitcher comes back. At least talk to him what can be worked out. This guy is a workhorse and they are going by just 1 off season. Gallen can rest the arms around forever.

14. Bro…. you're too emphatic with your comments….. Gallen is a really good pitcher and could bounce back with a great year. I'm not arguing that he recently tailed off….but I would love him in the Mets rotation

15. I think this is the issue he’s going to have with every team. Platform years matter and his 2025 was terrible. Your take is accurate but not unique or informative bc it Allie’s near universally.

16. I like Gallen, but his time in the sun may be over. All players have to come to terms with what they don't want to face- playing time is over.
