Russo mentioned this on a podcast that Hughes will lose an edge because the blade holder makes contact with the ice. Which is wild to me that you can be on your edge that deep
I always think of the like from Top Gun when he does edge work on opponents, “I’ll put on the brakes and he’ll fly right by”
He is always falling. I love it. Dude has so much personality somehow. Obviously one of the best skaters, but the one I see fall the most too. Man, I hope to god we re-sign him.
