Back in June 2025 Kiké made a touching and powerful Instagram post about his support for the city of Los Angeles and its immigrant population, proudly stating “This is my second home. And I cannot stand to see our community being violated, profiled, abused and ripped apart. ALL people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and human rights. #CityOflmmigrants”. It was during a time of heightened ICE activity in LA, during which time ICE even tried to station themselves in the Dodger stadium parking lot before being told to leave.

Today Kiké reposted it to his Instagram stories. In light of the current events in Minnesota, i don’t think this was a coincidence. I believe this is Kiké’s way of saying his support of the immigrant community is unwavering. I know I was heartened to see it.

  3. Even people who came here illegally are human beings that deserve decency and respect. There is a way to enforce the letter of the law without demonizing, terrorizing, or belittling people.

I get that the more money you have the more your economic politics seem to align with fiscal conservatism, but damn you’d think with that much money getting taxed a bit more wouldn’t be as important as people (citizens, residents, and non residents alike) literally getting murdered by the state. 😐

  12. Yeah, definitely buying a Kiké jersey this year. Between what he does on and off the field he’s quickly turning into my favorite Dodger. If he’s not resigned we riot.
