When he says “2026” does he mean the 2025-26 season, or the 2026-27 season? Or does it just simply mean that the “predicted” event will occur in the stated year?
Right now, we’re in the 2025-26 NHL season where the Stanley Cup Finals will be played in 2026. Next season will be the 2026-27 season with the SCF played in 2027.
This year we’re in the [2025 NFL season](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_NFL_season) with the Super Bowl occurring in 2026. And next year will be the 2026 NFL season where the Super Bowl occurs in 2027. The 2027 NFL season will have its Super Bowl played in 2028.
So just simply saying a year for predicting something like this (especially a Super Bowl which would be better referred to by its number like Super Bowl LX) is far too vague/ambiguous. And that’s what “psychics” love to use.
