Nagy is back?????
Andy commented during this presser that the offense and scheme were, in fact, good this year because there was a stretch where the Chiefs were top 5 in EPA.
Which is… rich when you consider that every EPA metric says the high EPA was from QB scrambles and Mahomes creating out of structure. Not the scheme.
I can’t express how much I love posts with no context linked behind a paywall. If I had a subscription to the athletic .. I wouldn’t need this post
Read article – no. Just poorly worded
We should all end all titled posts to r/kansascitychiefs over the next year with the phrase “- And Matt Nagy”
Comments are funny. “Reid is the OC. It doesn’t matter!” Crazy they pay someone millions(?) to do nothing. Calling the plays on gameday is one piece of a much, much larger puzzle.
Do we know why Nagy is leaving? Did Andy Reid let him go but allowed him to save face? Was it Nagy staying one step ahead of the posse? Why would he look for lateral work when he has Mahomes? I get that he interviewed for HC positions but wouldn’t wait until you secured something before you left?
