  1. I love it. Its one of my favorite rivalries because both fanbases are quite respectful.

  2. Makes sense. Toronto is a popular tourist city, especially since Mariners fans probably saw how crazy Toronto got during the playoffs.

  3. Honestly the last year or two esp after the postseason they might be our biggest rival aside from basic divisional ones like the Yankees imo

  4. They should include passes to the CN tower so they can see what a real city landmark looks like

  5. Makes sense. A lot of fans in western Canada are fans of both teams and make trips to T-Mobile Park for games

  6. I’m all for American tourists coming here for baseball and other reasons. We could use the injection into our economy.

  7. Not even worried. I think they might like it and wanna stay. I wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t wanna go back down there

  8. Thats awesome, makes the rivalry deeper, and a bunch of Americans comes spend tourist money here. Win win

  9. I sat in the section over to Mariners fans who were loud and confident they were going to win game 7… Until Springer’s homer. They left soon after lol 😭 and then the people in my row and Infront were booking/confirming their flights to LA 😂🤣

  10. Eh it won’t work. Seattle gets invaded because tons of people from western Canada go down, being a much quicker flight than Toronto is. Sure people go from other parts of Canada, but when I’ve gone and talked to other Jays fans, they’re mostly from the western end.

Seattle has no proximity to Toronto, and I doubt residents are gonna head across the continent for this.

  11. Fuck the Mariners.

The only Mariner fan I know IRL sent me 35 texts at 3am after the end of the world series bragging that the Jays lost.

They are now my most hated team because of that one dude alone.
