That’s just a night out on the town/restaurant tab for him 😂
Fuck the DoPS, and the reign of Bettman I.
Do people actually care about this? I feel like there are enough players that say the actual words in post game interviews that no one should be bothered by a finger.
This league is just one super soft birthday party
That was AI, Johnny told me himself
In a sport where grown men are allowed to fist fight
Incredibly soft from the NHL
Mysteriously, since the game was blacked out, no one saw the infraction.
/s
Unpopular opinion apparently, but good. He’s a professional athlete, act professional
Free Nylander!
I mean honestly that seems fine. They don’t want players being able to flip the bird whenever they want because it will upset a fair portion of the fans sadly.
But $5k is peanuts for big willy. This is literally a slap on the wrist.
Comparatively, It’s like if someone with an average salary got a 25-35$ fine.

Quite the mark up; [Andrew Ference only had to pay $2,500](https://www.nbcsports.com/nhl/news/nhl-fines-andrew-ference-2500-for-middle-finger) and he did it on the ice!
