49ers fans: I know you hate the Seahawks with every fiber of your being, but itâs OK to admit that Seattle is a damn good football team.
Give credit, where credit is due. What John Schneider and Mike Macdonald have built is impressive.
Even if the 49ers had Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, George Kittle and Mykel
Williams, they still donât go into Seattle and win that game yesterday.
Why? Because it wouldnât have changed the fact that the Niners are weak along the OL, have no team speed on offense and thatâs led to Mike Macdonald owning Kyle Shanahan.
The Seahawks from week 1 to now are a completely different team. They remade the roster last offseason.
What the Niners did this season is highly impressive. What the Seahawks have built is what the 49ers have to stride toward dethroning.
The Seahawks are probably going to win the Super Bowl. The 49ers arenât close to doing that right now. 2025 was never San Franciscoâs year.

Mark my words. Niners are entering their 2nd dark age. I lived through the first fall from greatness, and this smells just like the Garcia/Smith days.
Other teams get good and continue to evolve. Niners get good, then hold onto every player and coach until the end of time. Shanny is a a career .558 winning coach. Most of the NFC coaches and all the SB coaches are .620 and above. Seahawks coach is over .700. I've been wanting to lose Shanny for so many years, and now we have to wait for them to realize it, fire him, find the right guy, and have him develop the team. Thats minimium 5 years if we started this year.
I have been saying this literally the night Kyle lost his 1st SB as OC. He was a great pick at the time, but he was never a dynasty SB winning coach.
As if all these factors werent enough, all the teams around them are getting INCREDIBLY better, Harbuagh teaming with Mcdaniel, Seattle and their fresh coach making a SB, Patriots possibly getting another ring, Rams creating a dynasty. They have nowhere to go but up. If Niners do well next year, I would be beyond blown away.

The NFC West was the powerhouse of the NFL this year. We just witnessed the Super Bowl game when the Rams faced the Seahawks. The AFC canât compete with this Seahawks team in all aspects, I suspect the Seahawks will blow out the Patriots especially after that Super Bowl 49 debacle.
