Miami Heat Pursuit Of Giannis Antetokounmpo Could Take A Big Hit If He Fires His Agent

Tobin reacts to a report from True Hoop that is reporting Giannis Antetokounmpo is furious with his longtime agent Alex Saratsis for being unable to get him traded from the Bucks and could be looking at jumping to Rich Paul. Tobin explains the reasons he thinks this could hurt the Miami Heat’s chances at landing Giannis.

  6. The most realistic options for giannis is atl and portland. Atl could go asa newell, risacher and te pels pick, 2 young guys plus the option of (potentially)a high pels pick in the top 5.

    The Portland deal could be pick retrieval attempt from bucks. A minimum 3 teamer where they get the picks back from both teams. Portland would push back from giving the picks back for giannis. The bucks would have to negotiate to not drain the roster of talent in wanting the picks back themselves

  7. if we didn't do anything in the past 5 years when we almost had enough to win it all, why would the front office wanna do something now when our window is closed with Bam and Tyler who are the most inconsistent co-stars ever

  9. No! I was hoping we could pair 32 year old small guard & 40% shooting center smaller than Giannis together. That totally looks like the supporting cast of Khris Middleton, Brooke Lopez, Jrue Holiday, & Bobby Portis.

    Not like the Dame & Bobby pairing that Giannis could barely win one playoff game with.

  17. Letā€™s be real.. thereā€™s no chance the heat currently have anything but a far prayer for Giannis. Even if he said only Miami the bucs arenā€™t gonna honor that. So many teams out there can beat our package . Including San Antonio or OKC

  19. They were never going to get Giannis anyway. Lost all hope of this front office after they lost out on Dame and KD. They are just to in love with their developmental players to give them up. Stubborn

  20. The heat are too cheap to make major changes to the roster. There's ways to improve the team but yet the front office refuses to do so.

  23. Heat fans really believe anything that is stated about a player out loud. Bam is the best defender in the league, Giannis has exemplary character, Spo is the greatest Coach of all time, etc.

    Everyone thinks Giannis is this high character guy, but heā€™s been acting very strange and cryptic ever since he won a chip, and he hasnā€™t gone anywhere in basketball since then either.

    The dude isnā€™t about the right stuff, heā€™s a ā€œwhat can you do for meā€ kind of diva, and if you donā€™t think heā€™d come here and think himself above Spo and everyone else, you will just find it out the hard way.

    I donā€™t want him. I hate how our front office approaches just about everything.
