1. I think the Cubs should concentrate on getting another power hitter who can play The outfield. Is there anybody out there still available, And getting the pitchers that they already have into peak condition.

5. At this point, how exactly is Gallen better than Taillon? I’m not convinced that last year was an "off year" for him any more than Shota. Something is wrong with both of them. Maybe it was a fluke but how much are you willing to bet on that?

7. The Cubs' rotation has Edward Cabrera as their #5, with Justin Steele likely returning by mid-season. They also have Rea and Assad, who have both been solid #4-5 starters. There is no reason to add yet another starter at this point. After the 2026 season, 3 starters will likely be FAs (Boyd, Iminaga, and Tallion). I expect the team will go with the rotation options they have now and will 'explore their options' (if need be) in July. In my opinion, it's more likely the team adds a useful veteran utility guy to pair with Shaw on the bench.
