Offensive line changes always seem to take a year to get traction. 2025 roster was one of their best, ever, on paper, but Wanya Morris hasn't really developed as a tackle and they didn't even give him a look at guard. Trey Smith got hurt, early, and hasn't made much impact since he got the big contract. One hopes and expects that to turn around. The hardest thing to watch in 2025 season was Mike Caliendo at OG. smh

   The offense looked kind of stale. You could predict with great accuracy based on the package they had in. If Juju's out there, it'll be x. If Brashard's out there, it'll be y, etc.

   I don't know what they're gonna do at right tackle, but they've got better draft position, so maybe they can get into some of the cream in the RT class. Others want them to draft TE or even RB in the 1st round. smh If they get O-Line fixed, the other stuff will take care of itself, imo. Omar's coming back on the D front and the D front should also be addressed, pretty aggressively. Nothing boosts your offensive skill players like a better O-Line. Force-multiplication. Same for the back 7 on defense. The better the guys are, up front, the better the guys on the back end are.

   We've the best QB around. If we win up front on both sides of the ball, KC is right back in the mix in late January and February.

3. One thing Brady always had that Mahomes has never had is a play fake that scares people, except maybe Kareem's first season or two.

I was wondering what happened with brownie because I really wanted him to be on the 53-man roster I think he could have made a lot of rookie choices that would have been good and learned a lot then it would have been into his second season instead of that if we bring them back this year it'll be as rookie year which is good but he's a really good player and we need to bring him

7. The passing game has been appalling. I would rather see Joe Bleymeier replaced. He has been the passing game since 2023, coincidently the WORST years in Mahomes career. He needs to go, or EB needs to hand the bulk of his duties to O'Shea. I think Nagy wore a lot of the blame that belonged to Bleymeier and Embree.

16. Chiefs fans know what coach-speak is right? Silly to get wound up by our head coach not saying the Chiefs were terrible last year. He’s got to keep their head up for next season.

17. This is not rocket science. Andy Reid must step down or Hunt should have foresight to let him go now. Many other owners made the bold but smart moves this month with their HC positions. The Chiefs need a coach with more discipline, especially one who puts more emphasis on a RB1. Everyone already knew a year ago that Pacheco wasn't the guy, and Kareem Hunt was good for 3rd or 4th and short. Instead, a perfectly healthy Brashard Smith was hardly given a chance. Mahomes ran far too often instead of throwing the ball away. So what does Veach do at the trade deadline? Norhing. Should have snagged Breece Hall from the Jets or similar- yes it would have required sacrificing much draft capital. What does management do after that? Fire the OC and all other assistant coaches that have no meaningful leadership roles, including a RB coach who was an 11-year wide receiver. How does this happen? To summarize, Mahomes might return Week 2 or 3, with running game and offensive line still broken. As a frustrated fan since '93, I hope everyone's ok with another losing season and another prime year for Mahomes wasted. Hey Cole! You can probably copy and paste the title of your post several more times this year.

18. Ill just say this again…. Andy is closer to 70 than 65… of course he wants familiar guys around him…. we need the Andy Succession plan in place NOW…

31. For me, the Chiefs need to change the way they win games. Seems like they want to win but they don't want to go out and score as much points as possible they want to do just enough to win, which in some ways I understand because they are saving their best stuff for the post season but it's a negative mindset.

Our offense was predictable and what happened to all our motion before the play… it’s to confuse the defense… Matt Nagy completely forgot disguise and fooling the defense – got to keep them guessing and seeing something new and do the opposite – that is what Denver coaches were good at this year

41. I wish Andy would let us know that he recognizes how bad they were this season. I find it really disturbing when he acts like things were great but they just had some bad breaks in close games. It was painful to watch how predictable the calls were, how poorly the youth on the roster was used, and how there was no sense of urgency and fire even as the playoffs window kept closing and closing and closing until it was shut. He should be angry and fired up, and letting the team and the fans know he’s angry and fired up. But instead he keeps downplaying the problems and he’s so non-chalant that it’s worrisome and triggering.

44. Andy is a phenomenal head coach, but he's a lousy public speaker…..hopefully, we get some fresh talent to work with for 26.

45. I think Bieniemy is an upgrade over Nagy, but I wish the Chiefs would have hired McDaniel instead of the former HC of Miami signing as the OC for the Chargers. I recently rewatched the "13 seconds" Divisional Buffalo game from 2022. The talent of the Chiefs players jumped off the screen, they had a lot of high quality players in every position group. It was a night and day difference compared to the team from last season, the Chiefs really have holes everywhere and will need to find a lot of quality players to get back to the playoffs…I don't think it will be a one season turnaround but maybe 2-3 seasons to reload the roster.
