  1. Free Agents I'd target:
    β€’ Iffeatu Melifonwu
    β€’ Cade Mays
β€’ Trey Hendrickson (One year prove it deal because of health and age)
-If Trey Hendrickson is too much target Joeseph Ossai or Kwity Paye
    β€’ Calias Campbell

  2. Goffs cap hit is why you have money to spend.

There's no better value than having a talent like Goff, Hutchinson, Sewell those 3 guys you know will retire as Lions thus you can restructure their contracts as needed to create the cap room to sign said players needed.

I don't think fans understand how the cap actually works. You push to extend your window.

  3. We picked up our developmental C at the end of the year . We picked up the Buckeye C that was 2024 Remington award winner he went UDFA and we signed him to futures at the end of the year

  4. Sign a veteran center and draft a young one for the future. Centers are a key position and a special breed. Leave Tate at guard. Stop with the developmental projects. Step on the roster ready to play at your specialty.

  5. If he cannot run block he will be almost useless in Petzing offense, so Mays would be a no. It's not about cost only, its about fitting the scheme.

  6. We absolutely can spend money on a center and get whoever we want. Especially once Decker retires and Glasgow and Reader are gone. Add Franks Salary on top of that and you’re talking 40mil in cap space cleared up at least. We need to do everything we can to go get Linderbaum. The cap keeps going up. You look at it by position and the only offensive lineman we are paying for the next 3 years in Sewell. We can definitely afford to pay a Center a lot of money.

  7. I feel like the Lions will be able to spend money because I think this very likely that Goff will restructure his deal to save cap space and Decker will likely get cut to save more. Sewell and St Brown could also restructure. It's possible they could be spenders.

  8. I think they should reach out to Arizona and see if Hjalte Froholdt might be available. he's a veteran on the last year of his contract, about to turn 30, and Prezling has experience working with him. Probably cost around a 5th Rd pick, and his cap hit is 7M. If he doesn't work out you can let him go after this year, and if he does you can resign him, likely for a reasonable amount given his age. It would also allow us to focus on Tackle or guard in the draft as we don't know if Decker will return.
