Eagles News: Jaelan Phillips listed among players who earned big-money contracts

1. He is obviously going to be paid

2. I think we’re going to, he’s a Fangio guy and Fangio has control of defensive personnel

3. Quick, someone give this guy some temporary off-field issues to shrink that price tag.

4. Was a real shame he committed a hit and run peeling out of that bar parking lot last week /s

5. The man showed up eager to perform and he did just that

6. I really liked him the first couple games, but he then disappeared for what seemed like the rest of the season.

7. We can’t afford him. 0% chance he comes back

8. I’d be shocked if Phillips gets a big money contract, both with his injury history and his mediocre sack numbers. Yes, he grades out well by the eye test and certain advanced metrics. But has any EDGE with his injury history and stats ever gotten a large deal?

9. Yeah, no thanks depending on what he wants. He wasn’t that big of a force to spend a lot on given his injury history. Focus on OL, TE in the draft and take some waivers on edges.

10. He wasn’t even that good

11. Do not overpay for this guy. Let him walk and get the draft pick back.
