He did pretty good. There was a few times he looked like a rookie, but he definitely helped with the win.
I love how smooth he moves despite being a legit 5! Lots of potential with this kid!
He’s got some good IQ with his positioning and cut timings. Not an incredible athlete, but he uses his size well on both defense and offense. Comfortable with the ball in his hands.

Needs to learn to finish those bunnies near the rim and his teammates need to learn how good he is at passing, but overall he’s looking good
My concern with Williams has been how inexperienced he is and how the speed of the game affects him.
Clingan and Timelord both took advantage of Amari’s rookie jitters few times. But neither is “fast” and Amari looked good as many times as he looked like a rookie.
Williams isn’t gonna be consistent. Amari has big potential. His passing is excellent and he’s absorbing coaching. Maturing faster than we should expect. Which means he’s probably gonna suck in the next game. Ups and downs should be expected.
But yeah. Amari is exciting.

Amari is coming along much faster than I thought he would. Love being pleasantly surprised that way!! 😂😎👍. I have no sense of his ceiling (where it was fairly obvious to me even when he was so raw, that Queta was an elite athlete who had a high ceiling if he could figure out basketball; which he obviously has)
