ESPN sources: The Titans are now set to hire former Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, contingent upon him not getting the Raiders head coaching job.

  1. Good to hear. He really thrived at coaching up young, gunslinging QBs which fits Ward to a T. Excited to see some decent playcalling for once too.

  2. Anyone know who else the raiders are looking at? How likely is this to go through?

  3. Goated. I wasnt gonna be mad either if we went down the Kingsbury route but I prefer Daboll

  4. Folks might give AAS shit, and some of it rightly deserved with the instability the past few years and absolute whiff on Ran and Callahan, but there is no doubt she wants to put together a winning team if she can. This was the best case scenario after Callahan’s firing. A culture coach that can focus on defense because he’s got a great OC with a proven track record of developing QBs. Not just a QB whisperer hired as a HC like Whisenhunt and Callahan, but a guy with a real track record that can focus on that one job. Legitimately can’t wait for football season now.

  5. I’m actually very interested in who they hire directly under him, because he’s likely only here for 1-2 years. To my understanding, Saleh is gonna hire within after Daboll is gone

  6. Giants fan

Daboll really really wanted Cam Ward in the draft so I’m happy to see him working with him so soon
This guy is a wizard when it comes to developing young QBs so I can’t wait to see the leap Ward takes next year

  7. Raiders fan here. Unless we hire Webb in the next couple of days, it feels like Kubiak has told us he’s taking the job. I think you all should feel pretty confident that Daboll will be your OC.

  8. Saleh and Daboll… making sure Ward has the best chance possible to succeed. Love it

  9. We about to have some fire in that locker room. Both these dudes can get animated fast. No issues with that from me for now. I’m excited.
