MOCK DRAFT SEASON HAS BEGUN 🐅.
This entire show just highlights the Bengals past unwillingness to be aggressive in FA and contract extensions and the need to do so in the future. Their approach in FA will dictate what they do in the draft. Hopefully it won't be a repeat disaster of last year.

Seems like you guys are ignoring the fact that the Bengals almost never go for guys over 30 except at league minimum
When I look at FA from the bengals perspective, I cross off every player 30yo or older.

Even if they restructure Joe’s contract, they do not have enough staff to multitask. Restructuring Burrow would not lead to any extensions or other signings… they are incapable of performing two tasks at once.
Drafting players based on their last name is akin to picking your NCAA tourney bracket by team mascots
Great stuff, really fun exercise as always. THANK YOU for putting in the contract restructure option! This year is such an incredible no-brainer to at least do the Burrow restructure. It could free up $20M in cap space immediately and give them flexibility to really fix this D. I hope this is something you ask Tobin about at the Combine — if not now, when?? When will they push a few more chips in the middle to win a championship?

Many of us listening to this wanted Nick Emmanwori in last years draft! Instead we ended up with bust perpetually under achieving shemar stewart. Dont rule out Downs staring at Duke at 10 the perfect obvious choice too. And of course they blow it AGAIN

Makes a lot sense & doesn't seem to complicated. They have to feel like the missed a huge opportunity this. But with a top 10 draft slot have an even bigger opportunity next yr. They should be going all in even trading next yrs pick if Bain falls to them & then trading back into the 1st to get Downs or Styles !!! Lots of guys I'd love to have off these top college defense
