  1. Moussa Diabaté from the French national team and the Hornets, a great defender and offensive rebounder, would be great. Hard-working, wonderful teammate, does the job nobody wants to do, would solve the Spurs' problem of lack of presence around the paint, stop many opponents and give Vic more opportunities to shine midrange and in the paint…

  2. The spurs ARE NOT going to trade for Yabusele, but they definitely SHOULD.
I think the exact opposite of everything you said.
1/ Yabusele is an underestimated player. He's a way better 3 points shooter compared to Sochan, equivalent to Barnes. He can bring a lot more physicality to the game. Can play 4 or 5, within the paint, something that Wemby doesn't like to do. He's the perfect 4 (larger than longer, not fast to move) to play with wemby who need to dominate in & out the paint. He's just perfect.
2/ The only reasons Knicks traded for him was to make sure with few cents that he will not land somewhere else. It was a dirty move.
3/ He's definitely a Spurs in the soul. Heart bigger than his ass. Never complaint once to the Knicks. He just plays without ego. He's by the way captain of the French team, so also someone that can speak up during a game.
4/ The only reason the spurs are not going for him is precisely because he's French. It's too much responsibility for Wemby to play with another French like Yabusele, or Maxime Raynaud, or Moussa Diabate.

  3. Big No. Yabusele is too old (30), too injury prone(more even I think than Sochan), He's on his 3rd team since joining the nba. I'm thinking somebody like Bobby Portis for Sochan or Olynyx and some picks. Nic Claxton would be nice too but Nets are going to want more than what Bucks will want for Portis.

  4. Don’t get Yabusele because he is French. Get him because you experienced Boris Diaw. He also had bad stats in Charlotte. You get Yabusele because he is a smart player and you need the girth..
