The Titans are assembling an amazing Coaching staff.
I don’t think Daboll and Saleh are that bad but I think we have been giving them way too much credit just because of how bad the Jets/Giants were
– Jets defenses were always good under Saleh but he ignored the offense and their defense was always heavily penalized and would commit dumb penalties in crunch time
– Daboll got credit for Jones, but Steichen made him look just as good if not better. He clashed with McDermott in Buffalo and was being undermined by Wink so much that the Giants fired Wink. His game management was horrific this year and he’s had success with really only Josh Allen as OC
The Texans D isn’t going anywhere, the Jaguars look poised to be top dogs for a while with Coen, and now the Titans are making competent coaching hires. We may have a bleak future ahead of us. This stagnation with Ballard running the show has to end, he’s going to lead us to a 4th place finish next year and trot out his usual “it’s tough to win in this league” bullshit.
