2021 forever

  1. “I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you’ve actually left them.”

  2. Agreed. I’m mainly just sad involving all parties. Horst burned assets to compete but had horrendous asset management at the same time. He never found that balance and made some questionable moves. Poor drafting killed the bucks down the road.

Sad/disappointed in how Giannis handled this whole ordeal. It was extremely uncharacteristic of him and his leadership this year was extremely poor. It was death by a thousand cuts and was unnecessary. I know it’s taboo to criticize him for all he’s done here, but he really did handle the end of this amazing era poorly.

The franchise goat. I’m very thankful to have him in Bucks history.

  3. 2022 just makes me cry tbh. I know the whole “if, if, if” game is a big thing in basketball but **anyone** could see that if Khris doesn’t get hurt that year we definitely go back to back

Giannis took the Celtics to 7 without the Celtics killer! I go back and rewatch that entire series all the time and the only thing I can think about is how nice it would’ve been if we had Kash $

If Giannis really does leave he’ll always be the franchise goat to me! He breathed life back into Bucks basketball and kept us competitive for nearly 10 years

  4. Back in 2019 while we were playing, I was rooting for the other team so the game wont be very boring because we would batter every fucking team in front of us…..
    I might cry

  5. Even feeling grateful for how good things were, it just feels overwhelmingly… sad. Ive never loved an athlete like Giannis. Was always respectful, wise, and proud to live in Wisconsin. His and Khris’ bond will forever live in my head as the ultimate example of mutual respect. He practically built several buildings downtown himself that have been great for the city. I’d be lying if I said I won’t shed a tear once it’s official.

There better be a statue outside that building the second he retires. #34 forever, the player and the man.

  6. I understand the drive to win another championship. I just think that Horst and the organization has done so much to make it work, and a lot of bad luck along the way culminating with the Lillard injury has prevented it from materializing. And even still, more effort was made this season bringing in Turner.

I guess I wish he would just openly recognize it. I think every chance he has he should be saying, in so many words, “I have one career, I would like to win as many championships as possible, and despite all their best efforts which has resulted in the current difficulties in roster-building, we couldn’t get there. I love the Bucks organization and what they did to bring as many championships as possible to myself and the city of Milwaukee. If I could play to 100 I would of course stay in MKE, and I will retire as a Buck, but for now I need to maximize my professional window.”
