So glad we beat these dickheads and that Kupp scored and made a couple of critical plays. Bet they aren't laughing any more.

  1. Not excusing Woolen’s penalty in any way, but reading these stories recently about the Rams team and organization helps understand more the context of that game. I believe that sideline interaction that drew the penalty was personal.

  2. There was talk that the Rams tried to convince him to retire. Kupp didn’t want to and was released. The Rams proceeded to tell some teams to not pay him anything more than veteran minimum.

  3. The Rams are apparently dickheads as an organization and it trickles down.

One interesting factor is that a lot of this is coming from former Rams players, including one of the greatest players to have the misfortune of wearing a rams uniform, Kupp.  There are some dudes that are not as bad because they are from other cultures like Stafford (Lions) and Adams (Green Bay), but Puka’s adventures on social media may be a symptom of an overall bad institutional culture. And don’t get me started on McVay who scream his true nature whenever he gets a setback.  Excuses and firing his assistant coach before Christmas. Yikes!

It probably comes from the owner.  He seems like an asshole, and assholes like to cluster together.

While the niners are a despicable franchise because their fans are awful, the Rams are easy to hate too because of their organization.

  4. When the Rams left St. Louis, I made the choice to root for a rival team because I wanted Kroenke to never live a moment of peace his entire life.
Now I’m sitting here, seeing his org still trashy, full of lying coke heads, whereas the team I actually care about is about to win a super bowl with class and dignity.

    Fuck the Rams. Go hawks!

  5. Not doubting it, but the lowballing piece is esp dumb on the Rams part. Wouldn’t you WANT rival teams eating up more of their salary cap?

  6. For anyone unaware, this story isn’t from the NFC Championship it is from our Thursday night game

  7. This rivalry has gotten so much better just in the last season. I always hated the Rams but every new thing that comes out about the way they treated Kupp makes me detest them even more. Fuck these guys.

  8. Might be a good omen. As the first Super Bowl run included an altercation with Greg Roman and other 49ers assistant coaches in an elevator.

  9. Really curious to hear what Coop’s response will be when he inevitably gets asked about this during media week. I’m sure he’ll give a “political” non-response, but would love if he gives it some life.

  10. I will be honest I know next to nothing about Chris Partridge but he is now my favorite coach I need to learn more about. So cool a defensive coach, no less, wouldnt take them shit talking Kupp.

  11. Bro, our OLB coach was heated outside of the box…upstairs…away from the field…at one of their coaches making fun of Kupp, an OFFENSIVE player.

    I fucking love this team.

  12. Read the article. Except “top brass not calling to thank him” – which, whatever – none of this sounded like anything other than business. Y’all are trying too hard to be upset.

  13. What a shit organization. What shit leadership. Fuuuuuck the rams. Seahawks will clean up the NFC West. The rams can enjoy being losers. HAHAHAHAHAHA

  14. As a St. Louis native, I’m not surprised the Rams did that. Especially not with fucking Stan “piece of shit” Kroenke at the helm. He probably didn’t know who Kupp was outside of a revenue stream. That disrespect trickles down and it’s not surprising the coaches disrespect him.

The sad part is, a friend of mine who’s also an STL native, loves the Rams and Kupp was his favorite player. After he left, he hated Kupp and blames him for not retiring. Even after the article he thinks Kupp is at fault. That’s how much the disrespect trickles down.

  15. This article warms my heart even more at Coach Mike’s coaching staff. Willing to throw hands over Rams’ coaches snarky comments away from the field is top notch support for their players. Love that.

  16. Coop did exactly what I was hoping: have a part in beating the lambs with at least 1-TD (preferably 20, but I dream big). He’s a good kid and a fellow Eag! ❤️ 🥃🍺 GO EAGS! (EWU)

  17. I too was not called by top brass when I retired early from a tech company after 20 years where the work I’d contributed had earned said company billions.
