[Chris Johnston on The Nielson Show] Re Artemi Panarin: Where could he go? I see somewhere like Los Angeles; this is a player that’s gonna go somewhere a little glitzy or somewhere where he clearly has a chance to win a Cup

  2. “Somewhere where clearly has the chance to win a cup”…so not LA? I can’t believe insiders anymore after they fumbled the news on THREE (3) major contracts back to back to back this offseason lol. LA is not a desirable place to play rn and I can’t be happier 😈

  3. We haven’t even made it out of the first round since 2014. We aint one player away from a cup.

  4. New York is asking for a high end prospect, a current roster player, and a first round pick. If we were a goal scorer away from being a contender, I’d say go for it, but there are way more issues than just scoring on this team. There’s going to be more when Kopi retires, so I’d rather keep whatever prospects and draft picks we have to solve these issues in the coming years.

  5. We are nowhere close to winning the Stanley Cup. A trade for a player like him might help us win a first round playoff series but that’s no guarantee. The Kings need to have a complete overhaul from the front office all the way down to the ice. I’ve loved watching Doughty play through the years, however his play the last couple of years hasn’t helped the team, especially in the playoffs. I would try and trade him (knowing that they’ll have to eat some salary) for young talent and draft picks. Same can be said about Byfield. He’s regressed IMO so trading him would be beneficial for both sides.
Holland made some terrible signings with Ceci and Dumoulin and I’m not sure who’s dumb enough to take those guys but pairing them with young talent might be the only way to get them off the roster. I can’t watch this team any longer and only check the score when I know a game is on.

  6. Well Los Angeles does not make a lot of sense. They are not in a position to win a cup. Their biggest needs our centers. They don’t have the pieces to trade for him. And if he talks to his current teammate and former Los Angeles Kings defenseman, Vladislav Gavrikov who despite like many of his teammates in Los Angeles mere decision before the playoffs ended last year that he was not gonna return
