In regards to the Phillies season, you should change the name of the show from "High Hopes", to "No Hope".
Boy, MLB Is going down the drain when you're satified if PAINTER winds up with a 4.00 ERA. Also the only MLB pitcher to throw a shutout last yr was PETERSON of the METS. THAT'S PATHETIC WHEN YOU HAD STARTERS LIKE SKUBEL,SKEENES, LOGAN WEBB among others in 2025.
Actually, the real WORLD SERIES is the WBC. The so called "WORLD SERIES" sgould be called the CONTINENTAL SERIES and the WBC should be called the real WIRLD SERIES.
Is anyone excited for this year? This org is a HUGE dissapointment. With no clear vision, and poorly thought out moves.
To@jackfritz:I not only understand baseball, but played baseball and coached baseball fir 8 yrs. I guess that you're used to mediocre basevall while the SUOER BASBALL of TOM SEAVER, NOLAN RYAN,BOB GIBSON,JUAN MARICHAL, STEVE CARLTON, DOC GOODEN, ANDY PETTIT and ROGER CLEMENS among others.
If they lower the Beer and Ticket prices or bring back dollar dog night I’ll lower my expectations 😆
The reason we’re “bellyaching” on Bader is cause even if he hit .245-.255 and hit 12 homers his fielding , base running ability, and gold glove would’ve made him well worth 2 years $22 Million. Crawford still easily could’ve played LF daily. And Marsh would be able to be your 4th man rotating with Adolis in RF. Crawford needing time and Bader being here aren’t necessarily things that had to connect. Crawford could’ve learned CF from Bader for 2 years & move there at the age of 24 in ‘28. They love Otto “Triple A” Kemp. A guy who’s not even an outfielder & he’s a fringe big leaguer. Dom never wants to admit he lost a trade. We’ve had Marsh 3.5 years. He is what he is. This OF is atrociously bad. And there’s heavy expectation on a rookie in CF. Also if the rotation is just average it’s very possible the Phillies finish 4th in this division with Washington and Miami having good young talent & ATL & NY being better.
I feel like the playoffs are a crapshoot and the goal should be to make it and catch fire. The Phillies are still in a good position to make a run.
They're facing a historical Dodgers team. Other than the Dodgers, who is clearly better than the Phillies?
