Come on people baty is Mr. Defense any position but catcher baty is gonn have his best year ever . If not they could trade him.CARSON IS NO WHERE BATY ITS A JOKE
The other thing I would change in that lineup is you have to go with who performed well in the second half baty hit 290 with nine home runs and around an 850 OPS and Alvarez in 30 something games had over 900 OPS after he returned from AAA and got his swing back, that’s your five and six hitter and Baty and Alvarez Vientos starts at seven. He’s better than Semien and Robert ninth if anyone gets hot, you move them up in the order if anyone gets cold, you move them down in the order.
Vientos is definitely being give a final chance prior to the trade deadline. IMO (some 1B and DH) Also think they've made Baty a critical piece in the success of the team this year. He'll get significant time as backup at LF, 1B, 2B and 3B to get this team to September healthy. I think Vientos be mostly DH vs lefties. (so maybe not Day 1 vs Skenes)
