  1. It’s giannis they are in it and are serious contenders.

    They are willing to trade:
    Darius garland
    Jarrett Allen
    Hunter
    Max strus

Mobley would be a last resort. They want a Giannis and Mobley pairing

  2. Giannis makes more money than any Cavalier and the Cavs can’t combine salaries being in the second apron. So they’d be out on him unless they find someone to take Hunter for free. I’d love to find a way to finagle a DG for Jabari Smith Jr trade but haven’t found anything that works yet

  3. As a second apron team, it is really hard to make the salaries work. And there isn’t a situation where the Cavs want to take a bad, longer contract.

  4. We have been dominate since a certain 2 of our big 4 got injured.

Better ball movement and pacing….just throwing that out there.

  5. In the full video Windy strongly implies the Cavs are calling the Bucks but does not think they are frontrunners in the trade.

  6. What is Windhorst talking about? Hot take to get fans clicking I guess. Cavs have no draft capital and there is no player on the roster that matches money wise or talent wise in a 1:1 trade. So let’s say it’s not Giannis and move on. There are other big swings out there. The Lakers are interested in Hunter, and lot of teams are eyeing Garland. There are plenty of teams looking to get over the hump but also teams looking to finish their tank job and unload their last good players.

  7. A Hunter for Giannis 1 to 1 swap would be pretty steep for us but I believe Giannis is worth giving up that much

  8. I don’t think we get Giannis but I just know Koby is salivating to somehow get in on the deal

  9. I wonder what trading Hunter, ball, and Nance could fetch us. That would be ideal. But if we’re talking home run trade. I’d say let’s trade mobley. I love the guy and I would be sad to see him go I even bought his jersey at the beginning of the year because I figured you’d be the one on the team longest but he’s expensive not producing and I have came to accept that he is in his prime. It’s not getting better. Not only is he a max player but he got a 50 million bonus for defensive player of the year. Very expensive, not producing. Unfortunately expendable. Allen and Garland I know are the two people want to see gone, But those two and Donovan are the identity of the team. You can’t trade those guys and not expect a huge culture shock.

  10. The Cavs are always in the conversation for any trade. They fly under the radar. I am certain they’ve called about Giannis but I promise you that doesn’t mean we have the best offer.

Years ago they just got Jarrett Allen basically for free as part of the Harden trade.

The Donovan Mitchell trade was not expected.

They talk to teams and they keep it under wraps.

  11. I’m surprised people still believe anything Windy says regarding the Cavs. There’s not a single thing he’s said about them in the last 3 years that’s actually come to fruition lol.
