  3. Every MLB team can defer contract money. Their opposition stems from NOT bringing in investors to challenge the large market teams in paying the high priced free agents. The small market teams like their bottom line as is, and don't want to pay new investors to bolster their possibilities to go after the elite players. Dodger fans have previously suffered disasterous season ending results for dozens of years. Go Dodgers. Get the 3-peat.
