7. They got Chris O'leary. I would like to hear the REAL story behind it. Jim said they have a plan. They knew last Minter was leaving. Everybody on the Chargers loved O'leary in 24. He turns arou d Western Michigan's D and cones back as Chargers DC, and the players love it. Seems like there's an untold story there.

9. Question: Do you think Najee heals up and can come back? If so, do the Chargers keep him? Kimani Vidal certainly stepped up when he was really needed. Side thought: Will we get a year where Herbert doesn’t get a significant injury… every year some injury(injuries) have happened to stunt his game. Let’s hope they can protect him to help that.

That’s where they’re getting it wrong McDaniel has elevated shanahan’s offense to where he’s blended the runs and passes together where everything looks like a zone run but it’s actually gap and vice versa even in the pass game he’s about putting defenses in conflict. Whatever defenders are taught he teaches his offense to do the opposite. I think with Tua there was limitations so he did what he could as well as with the o line they had, but with Herbert I think we will see something entirely new we haven’t seen before and that’s exciting. Before I use to think he was all about disguise and gimmicks and fancy plays, but he’s extremely detailed in his approach and will give other defensive coordinators headaches. I’m excited to see what he comes up with I think him and Jim being together will be great and he’ll learn to be a better leader as well moving forward.

11. No need to give respect to Greg Roman. He wasted two years of the players’ careers, some of whom may not be able to play another year. The Chargers core player are young, Joe Hortiz isn’t building a one and done SB winner. He’s building a dynasty that is worthy of the best coaching, and that isn’t Greg Roman.

12. Yes the Chargers have a lightning bolt, but they’re actually named for a horse. A "charger" horse is a historical term for a strong, swift warhorse used by knights for charging into battle.
