Ahhh back when I considered myself insanely lucky to have been born a Steelers fan. Could brag and talk shit to everyone on campus who wasn’t. (Was in college at the time) man those were the days 😔
I’m already nervous and I know how it ends.
Tomorrow is the 17 year anniversary
I did this a couple weeks ago too. The thing that kind of shocked me was how fast everyone on the field is. Watching this season was like watching in slow mo
I do this all the time on YouTube. Look up Ben 50 greatest plays. It’s so good
I’ll never forget watching it at my buddies house and his sister (who doesn’t care about sports) sat down to smoke some weed with us and when Larry Legend caught that touchdown she laughed I knew they’d choke anytime I watch a Steelers game they lose then the camera cut to Roethlisberger who looked possessed as he grabbed his helmet and I turned to my buddy and said we fucking got this!
I just got rock hard. No diddy
I watch that and don’t know how I didn’t have a heart attack during that game. Watching Fitzgerald take it the house nearly killed me
I put on the highlights to this game last night. Took me back to that night. I smile just thinking about it.
So imagine being there & getting an early jump on the halftime bathroom run….
I get up, make my way up the steps, and head towards the bathroom. The crowd goes crazy & everyone nearby stopped & looked at the monitors. Then I made a mad dash to my section…. Harrison already scored. 😭
It gets better. When Holmes caught that TD, we couldn’t see because of the angle. The crowd screamed, Cardinals fans screamed, and we’re asking,”What happened?” Looked at the replay & prayed because I wasn’t trusting the refs.
Lost moment: Ben did not see Mewelde Moore early in the game. He was left alone & had Ben hit him, he would’ve scored or been inside the 10.
I won’t cause depression from being in the seats watching SB30 & SB45. Just know it was worse than it looked on TV. 😩😩😩
Just showed this to my fiancée and she said get this out of my face. (She’s a cardinals fan)
I had a house full of people over for that Super Bowl and we had such a great time. I had to be on a 6am flight the next morning for a work conference and I often wonder how I would have managed to make that trip had they lost
We’ll get back there again soon
First super bowl i ever saw and remember finding out my whole family are huge steelers and thats the day I become a steelers fan

I watched an hour long video of AB highlights last week
You know I’ve yet to rewatch the 13 seconds game even though it’s probably the best playoff game of all time or one of them simply because I don’t want to relive the losing again.
Sad part it’s probably the most iconic game in our franchise history along wide right.
