  1. Was hoping for special shots of Kim since he was on the field for the last out, but I guess they use MLB’s feed.

  2. Translation of the Call for anyone interested… will not go to specific person cause hard for me to distinguish even though I can tell there are two of them.

“Kirk’s bat has broken. He takes it himself, throws to first… (SCREAMING)

The game is over! For the first time in 25 years, the Major Leagues have back-to-back champions! And that team is the Los Angeles Dodgers! They protect their position on the mountaintop.

A turbulent road, but the Dodgers have done it in the end.

    That’s 3 wins for Yamamoto!

The world said, “The Dodgers are ruining baseball!”

But the Kings of this generation have spoken, “No, we are the truth (or reality) of baseball!”

    Champions! Dodgers!

  3. LOL At the SF Giants players going to Korea and trying to popularize their team there.

The Dodgers are the most popular team in Korea and have signed many Korean players and were the first team to sign the first Korean born player, Chan Ho Park and were the team that had the first Korean player (and I believe Asian player) ever to compete in the HR derby (Hee Seop Choi).

Other previous ex Dodger Korean players, include Jae Seo and Hyun Jin Ryu

Lots of SF fans do not know this and are trying to make this a “Korea Giants” and “Japan Dodgers” thing, which is fucking moronic because LA is home to the largest Korean diaspora in the US and is the most popular team amongst Koreans. Also, they don’t seem to realize the Dodgers have a Korean player currently.

  4. My Korean is rusty but I believe he said “Hye Song Kim gracously let his veteran field the ball to get the final out. Even thought it was obviously coming Kim’s way” “Wow! What class and respect Kim has for his teammates”
