  10. I came into my Jets fandom with the Woody era just starting, Chad Pennington/Curtis Martin leading us to a 9-7 division win, and things were looking up.

    Flash forward 25 years, the Jets suck, have sucked for over a decade, will continue to suck bc of ownership, and I fucking hate football.

  11. I believe this is totally false. Woody has publicly on record said “what do you except a coach to do when you have a QB like that” so that last statement is false.

    This is just wink leaking dumb shit because he’s mad he didn’t get the job. Wink was leaking all of the info to Conner Hughes and that is not aaron style.

  21. As much as I hate Woody making any football decisions, I do understand the fact that he’s paying Glenn $12M and the team, and his D has been garbage. Put Glenn on the hot seat and force him to be accountable for something so he can’t just keep blaming the coaches (that he’s picked) when it fails again.

  37. Source aside. Would this surprise anyone? This is why this team has been a disaster for 15 years. Woody has no patience and also no understanding of how to run a football team. He gets impatient quickly and just starts doing things that undermine any long term plans the football people may have. They all resort to being good soldiers like saleh and Douglas did despite the fact that we know Woody was meddling for years before they left.

    The jets are doomed unless woody relinquishes control. He doesn’t have the mind, he doesn’t have the understanding, and he doesn’t have the patience to build a winning team.

    Honestly woody is basically like most fans here. Impatient and doesn’t understand the context of the situations he makes decisions about. He’s shooting blind.

  39. I’m not saying I don’t believe it, but Morash is NOT the guy I’d believe when it comes to Jets news.

    I feel like we’re at a point where we hate Woody so much that we’ll believe anything that gets thrown at us about him, but this sounds very different to everything else we’ve heard.

    I just feel like if Woody were really behind it all, Engstrand and the rest of the coaches would have been fired in Black Monday.

  46. I heard exact same story from someone in the Jets org. This is 100% true.

    Glenn is going to get fired next year when Saleh is off the books.
