  1. Why do they need to get rid of Barrett ? Why can’t they trade poertl , 1st round pick, dick for sabonis ?

If we get sabonis and keep rj this team will be a contender

    Sabonis
    Barnes
    Ingram
    Barrett
    Quickly

  2. Michael Scotto: Domantas Sabonis trade talks between the Kings and Raptors, which would include RJ Barrett and Ochai Agbaji to Sacramento, have paused. Toronto is concerned about giving up too much first-round draft pick compensation to move Jakob Poeltl to a third team.

  3. Sabonis is 6'10 does not solve our center problem and is very expensive at close to 50 million per season. We need 7 footer or we will continue to get pounded around the rim by bigger teams and increase injuries to our forwards
we pit against other teams bigs

  4. DON'T give up a 1st. RJ, Gradey, Ochai & Temple and two 2nd round picks. Keep Poeltl (restrict his minutes upon return), and add Sabonis. That's a fair deal for both teams. RJ is a great player.

  5. Goga from the magic is available as well as Dayron and Gafford, we don’t need to trade Jak, just sign one of those guys then when Jak gets back we’ll be better, then let’s deal IQ and Ochai for Ayo dosumni and a 1st

  6. Ok so let me get this straight we give away Jakob and RJ for Sabonis, And we think we are a better basketball team?

    Just curious…

  7. I think the raptors should probably acquire someone like Neemias Queta from the Celtics. They have 3 Centers now, and have a G-League Center – Amari Williams.
I think Queta would be great for tbe Raptors. He is on a cheap contract, and is averaging 10 and 8, whilst being among the top 5 most efficient players. He also has 1.3 blocks a night

  8. This DS major trade sucks!
If we are going to send firsts I want younger, cheaper and core depth:
No first unless it is Jak going out.
We would be smarter to do 3 teams with Chicago and N.O. that sends out JP RJ Ochai & Jamison for Zack C, Jalen Smith, Ayo D, Patrick W. Then JMO + Julian Phillips = Yves Missi

Now we would send 2027 + 2029 top 5 protected for 2 seconds from Chicago in those years. Add 2-3 seconds to N.O.
All teams under tax. Maybe Jak when healthy is better and both Jalen S and Yves but depth matters any you get diversity in C play.
Tor rest of 26: PG IQ, JS, Ayo D; SG Ayo, Ja’Kobe, GT; SF BI, GD, CMB; PF SB, CMB, PW; C Jalen S/ Yves M and Sandro. We go from small wing heavy to big wing heavy but I think most wings can play 2-4 and so you save Ayo more for PG some in 2 PG lineups.
We could try and buy out Zach for $3 mil less and he could try and join a contender while we add AJL to playoff roster.

  9. im getting tired of your fake headlines that you put in thumbnail then just say the same old thing everyday please just stop this crap and just show us whats going on with raptors no fake headlines no making up fake storylines just raptors basketball

  10. Just a thought if we are giving Memphis our 2026 first why not add one or two 2nd rounders and go after Edey and a guy like Cam Spenser who has .458 3pt percentage. We send both Quickley, Poetl and Grady to the Memphis our 2026 first, 2nd from 2027. We get Morant, Edey and Cam Spencer. Not sure if they would give up Spencer you could substitute for GG Jackson. Memphis wants to take on bad money we have bad money and picks. Raptors go way under the tax with this deal and Memphis still has almost 25 million in cap space to take on contracts for picks. Then use Ochai and 2nd to get a 2nd center

  11. If the Bulls are open to Poetl why not just send him to Chicago with the 2026 1st. and Get Jalen Smith and Ayo Dosunmu. Raptors upgrade AJ Lawson. From what I understand Dosunmu is asking for a lot of money and they might be willing to part ways with him. Maybe add another filler player from the Bulls and send Grady, that is a first and young player

  12. i dont see why we need a Sabonis on the Roster unless we plan to pick him up and trade him off-season. Mamu doing a great job as back up C and we have CMB ramping up. thoughts?

  13. I don't like this deal at all. Jakobe, Gradey, RJ and Abaji … for Sabonis? His impact isn't that good. Also, I'm pretty high on Jakobe. He's a great defender and has good instincts and just isn't getting enough playing time to get into a rythm. I think he should play more than Shead… who I would be ok putting in a trade package.

  14. The Raptors GM better do a much better job on Sabonis than he did with Yak. Is Sabonis healthy. He might also have a broken back. They are going to throw away a play maker and 20 points plus a 1st for this guy. This will be a disaster!

  15. Eh… not a real fan of Sabonis. He isn’t healthy and he’s small and wouldn’t fair well going against tougher teams like, Philly, Pistons and Knicks. Raps need to look big and tough.
