And that ends the gamble of trading a great rookie and a ton of picks for a great player with lots of injuries. Forcing PG to be on the team ended up weakening the team overall. Wish Kawhi just came here with the understanding that they would make trades to eventually get more help for him. But giving a ton away ended up weakening the team which gave us little material to barter with and that’s where we are now.
Let’s not make the same mistake again and think things through next time.
