Is Todd Monken putting together a star-studded offensive staff for the Cleveland Browns?
On Tuesday at noon ET, Todd Monken will address local reporters for the first time since the Cleveland Browns made him the 19th full-time head coach in franchise history.
It’ll be an opportunity for Monken, 59, to lay out his vision for a team that has won a combined eight games in the past two seasons.
Since agreeing to a reported five-year deal, Monken has hit the ground running. He quickly brought along veteran George Warhop (offensive line), who has coached alongside him with the Baltimore Ravens over the past two seasons, and Travis Switzer (offensive coordinator) — getting trusted assistants to join him in Cleveland. The rest of Monken’s staff is expected to come together quickly, with the NFL scouting combine starting Feb. 22.
Just weeks after the combine, free agency will commence March 11 at 4 p.m. ET, and so will the true rebuilding of a Browns roster that is due for upgrades along the offense.
As Monken embarks on his first NFL head coaching opportunity in Cleveland, here are three priorities that he and his staff should focus on to get the Browns in contention: | https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47810676/cleveland-browns-head-coach-todd-monken-priorities-quarterback-coordinator-scheme

Let's go browns.
They don't need an offensive staff. Stupid. You don't need anything on offense. You have Shedeur Sanders. That's all you need. All assistants will do is collect a paycheck. Even Tyvis knows Sanders is going to make his own offense, call his own plays, and like G Bush promised, will average close to 10 passing TDS a game. Average. Look for 700+ yards per game just through the air
Jason Lloyd is so full of shit
Tyvis has the best laugh love it and the show
This is what I'm tired of there are alot of Stafanski loyalists that are on the (ABS) anyone
butShadeur trip. All their false reporting about the reason that Shadeur wasn't getting first team reps "Gabriel is Light-years ahead of Shadeur" and a "Super Computer" has hurt their credibility with the Cleveland media and fans. It also is a shadow that continues to haunt Stafanski. If Shadeur fails or is replaced or demoted it is a repreave for them especially Stafanski who fumbled the ball and rode the "Dillion" train right out of Cleveland. Lima, Bull, Mary K and Loyds of the world are continuously trying to say that Shadeur is not the future and hoping that he will not be QB1. They are looking crazy right now! LMFAO!!!!😅😅I'm thinking Dell Mcgee for RB coach. Ex RB coach at Georgia with Monken. He's current Georgia state HC. Could offer insight on Ted Hurst WR Georgia state.
Shedeur will be the starting quarterback. I can’t wait to see what the narrative is when they start winning and he is playing like the 1st round draft pick that he is.
Also Andrew Weidinger. Ex Wr coach with Monken at TB. Was coaching in European league recently. Was wr coach for young Mike Evans. FA interest.
Deshaun will start if he’s healthy. Not sure why Jason wants to release him. If his job depended on it I dont think he would really think that. Monken is responsible for this team so his job is to put out the best team he can. If ots Deshaun so be it. If its Shedeur thats great too.
Ask yourself this : if the problem in Baltimore was the offense then why did they hire a defensive coach?
The fact these guys are choosing Monken over Harbaugh says a lot. Harbaugh is reportedly crushed he got the HC job in Cleveland
Who did we hire for ST?
So Jason wants to release Sanders and Watson from what he has said the last couple of weeks. So I guess he wants to go all in with Gabriel? Glad this clown doesn’t make the decisions
Jason has the dumbest takes.
So what if Monken actually turns Deshaun into Lamar?? You still want to cut him because let's face it, Shedeur can't really read exotic coverages which is why he throws so many picks. So you want to hang your franchise on a possible Jameis Winston 2.0???
Jason, just focus on basketball.
Bull, focus on baseball.
Why is Bull so sure the Browns will suck this up coming year? And how many Free Gents will want to come to Cleveland with the way that media covers its own team?
The emotional response to deshawn is the difference between being a fan and being an owner
Bull hating ssa smh 😂
If Jim would have accepted the disappointment a little better, he could be kept. Otherwise, I think he needs to go because keeping him makes me feel he’d be sabotaging Monken all year through action, coach or press conferences.
All right, good coaching is going to fix all the guys that can't block and can't catch. Kevin should have told them to block and catch. Remember don't throw it to the other team. Play calling yada yada. Sure. Coaching change without significant personnel upgrades is a dog and pony show aimed at ticket sales. You'd think after 26 years of this, fans would catch on. SMH
