Bucs HAVE TO Make A Play For Maxx Crosby | Is Trey Hendrickson A Better Option For The Buccaneers?

Maxx Crosby’s time with the Raiders is reportedly coming to an end – so the Bucs and Jason Licht have to be involved in those trade talks to bring him to Tampa.

Is Trey Hendrickson actually the better option for the Bucs to address edge rusher because of the cheaper cost?

If the Bucs trade for Crosby, would they have enough draft capital left to address their other needs?

  1. I think Crosby is the better value in that he plays more of a true “ edge”. He also creates the hidden havoc in that he can get the 8-14 sacks but also 65-70 tackles with 22-25 TFLs which are like sacks! The MOTOR ?? The ATTITUDE?? He’s worth it! Even if you trade a 1, the ILB is deep and we can still fill it on day 2.

  2. I'd prefer to keep both these WR's, but if one had to be traded to get Crosby, I'd rather see Egbuka go instead of McMillan. I think McMillan is better.

  3. The Bucs should be willing to let go of 2 WRs to get Maxx Crosby. Let's be honest, with all the WRs healthy our record was worse than when a couple were injured.

  4. You guys do not shine a light on how BAD THE GM of Tampa Really is. Look at the 2000-2003 Roster, look at the 2020 Roster. Signed Keenan McCardell WR, Traded For Keyshawn Johnson WR, Signed WR Joe Jurevicius, Signed DE Simeon Rice, Signed QB Brad Johnson. Drafted LB Shelton Quarles, Drafted DL Warren Sapp, Drafted S John Lynch, Drafted LB Berrick Brooks, Drafted CB Ronde Barber and THEY BUILT AROUND THESE GUYS! in 2020 They RENTED QB Tom Brady in a COVID Year, Brought his buddies WR Antonio Brown, TE Rob Gronkowski, Were Handed RB Leonard Fortunete ALL IN ONE YEAR! A COVID YEAR! Jason Licht Has Drafted WR's Godwin and Evans. Along with DT Vita Vea and S Antoine Winfield. And he has won a SUPER BOWL with these guys. Since Brady left, the GM Jason Licht HAS DONE NOTHING! A super Bowl Winning Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles has put a bandage on this team year after year after he was given the keys to the car. He received a washed up Brady, Washed up Fortunete,, Washed up Lavonte David, No Antonio Brown, No Gronkowski, a new offensive Coordinator almost every season. NO ELITE FREE AGENT SIGNINGS, NO ELITE DRAFT PICKS. Todd Bowles still managed to get this team into the playoffs year after year with a Average Baker Mayfield, Average Running backs, Injured WR's in Godwing and Evans. Evans is now washed up and you could say the same for Godwin. The GM Never addressed losing Devin White, never addressed the aging Lavonte David. Never addressed how AWFUL Jamel Dean is. This team has no Hall of Famers on it besides Evans an old injured WR! So what is going on with the GM? What is going on with Ownership? Why are they not providing the RESOURCES that Todd Bowles NEEDS to Succeed? Bruce Arians Was gifted Tom Brady, Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fortunete. But Bowles get Baker and NoTHING? Okay Bucs Fans keep dreaming about being an elite team when you are CLEARLY NOT! The Bucs are nowhere near as good as they were in the late 1990s' to the early 2000's NOT EVEN CLOSE!

  5. What makes anyone think Todd Bowles is going to allow Mad Maxx to have any effect on the defense. Bowles has lost his ge and is the reason the Bucs didn't win the NFC South. Mad Maxx would be a great asseet, but Bowles just can't coach up a defense any longer. Keeping Bowles was a grave mistake. I'm worried if his sad-sack attitude will affect Robinsonand the defense. After all, Bowles does not play to win, just not to lose. He's like old Marety Schottenheimer – prevent defense and never win a big game.

  6. This might be Jason Licht's downfall. Never getting a marquee defensive free agent to help the team. You will never draft a pass rusher equal to Max Crosby, playing at his level from day 1, with your number 15 draft pick and what ever next years pick is. You keep drafting JAGS and signing has-been free agents. Rashaad White and a young player plus picks

  7. I am a bit perplexed…the rest of the NFL and media sees the Bucs as a rebuild. Bolwes fired 2/3 of his staff, and his defense is antiquated and relies on stunts and blitzes that you cannot check out of. Crosby is an old fashioned edge rusher who has expressed interest in Mike Vrabel type energetic head coaches with vision. THAT AIN'T TODD! I cannot see him coming to this headache. Even if he did there are still glaring issues on the backend of the D and elsewhere. The fact is, being a head coach in the NFL means being a CEO first, and if you can handle that THEN you think of holding on to play calling (like McVay). Yet Bowles has NEVER been able to do that. It was his downfall in New York, and his defense is falling apart here (and I hold Jason accountable too).

  8. Dude, get real. NOT A CHANCE of the Bucs making a move for Crosby or Hendrickson . Every time you make these shows you are WAY OFF on you assessment of the Bucs organization. I just laugh at your shows now because I don't think you actually pay attention to the soft Glazers boys and their sorry GM. And your support of Ball Sack Bowles made me sick. đŸ€ą
