Took this back in the summer but thought it was too pretty not to post. What are your favourite memories from the 'dome?

My first NHL game was there. Edmonton vs Calgary
Nice picture of the old building. I will miss it too.
I’ve seen some great stuff there. Game 7 against Vancouver in the 89 playoffs. Game 4 against Vancouver in the 04 playoffs. Even the 88 Olympics were pretty awesome. The tragically Hip’s final tour. There’s a lot of good memories there.
I wasn’t there for game 6 against Tampa Bay in the ‘04 playoffs, but I have to say, on behalf of everybody who was there – “IT WAS IN!!!!”
Game 3 v Tampa in the cup final. I had no voice after that game.
Red mile afterwards for a few pops and taking in the sights.
Going there the week after his death was fuckin’ surreal. Probably not my favourite memory at the ‘Dome but it’s the one that stuck with me the most.
My first nhl game was there. I remember Theo fleury, Trevor kidd with his dragon mask, Sandy McCarthy and of course Jarome Iginla. I met iginla there at a meet and greet and he signed my blasty jersey when they were first released. I saw my first live wwf there. Saw Brett and Owen heart. Got a pair of those wrap around sunglasses. The undertaker burst out of the ring and when he beat Yokozuna he rolled him into a casket. Damn so many early memories. I’ll have to make the trip from Vancouver to see one last game at the dome
Keep it and scrap the community rink plans.
October 2007. I asked a girl from work out on a date to a Flames game. We won and scored 5 goals. Dome was rocking it was the perfect first date. We hit it off so well and now we are married with 4 kids.
Saw the all star game there.
Recently went to the leafs game. Compared to other barns, the place is a dump. The chairs are uncomfortable, the concourse is tiny and cramped.
My Dad used to take me to games in the 80s. My first games were at the old Stampede Corral, so I remember being excited about seeing a game at the Saddledome when it was the new arena. Lanny was my favorite in those days. I also got to see an Olympic hockey game there in ’88 (West Germany vs. the US). It wasn’t Team Canada, but it was still exciting.
It’s a garbage arena. Smallest and worst lower bowl in the NHL.
