Let's go Reds ⚾⚾🤜🤛
Can't wait
They’d better do it this year or we’re talking another rebuild.
I am excited for the Reds and I am not even a Reds fan. Go Win the division. Good luck this season. Cubs suck.
Matt McCains defense is worth every penny and if he starts getting hits ,its on!
40 days until opening day
I don't have a problem drafting shortstops. But if you have 4 or 5 that will come up at about the same, start getting a couple of those guys some outfield reps in the minors. Especially if you have a guy with projectable size and power. Like Tyson Lewis?
This won't be a rebuilding project if so there will be some troubling signs for the Reds front office including Nick Krall &Brad Meador because if any organization decides to go through a fourth cycle of change without any consistent upward movement in the NL Central standings since 2012 the scrutiny of the Castellini's will become intense with the fan base the interest level in the Tri state region will fall off.Even small market franchises in a winnable division with the exception of the Cubs all have fiancial challenges even with a possible lockout in 2027 cannot make any more excuses for not being revelant. The urgency has to be there when you have not won a postseason series since 1995,the only MLB franchise that has not won one in the 21st Century, and currently have a eight game playoff losing streak. The Cincinnati Reds are officially on the clock.
I brought this up before but nobody seems to address or agree with it, why not have Ke'Bryan Hayes be the backup SS when Elly needs a day off? With his defensive skills he could definitely do it, or at least fill in, then Sal or Geno could get some reps at third base on those days.
thanks guys for keeping us locked in during the off season
Matt swung at way too many pitches out of the strike zone, particularly off the plate( both sides) Was it his shoulder? It looked as though his position in the batters box didn't give him a great view of the strike zone. Hopefully he looks better this season. His defense is top shelve but we need base runners and to get as many players to see a starter as possible.
Matty McLain will be back to his rookie season form and more this season. I was convinced in 2023 that he will be an absolute asset to the organization. I’d like to see them lock him in with a long term contract this off-season just to give him the boost that comes from knowing your team, city, and fans believe in you. He had the injury in ‘24 and he flashed his glove well in ‘25, but his offense has taken more time to recover. I’m sure he has been swinging a lot this off-season to be the productive batter we all know he can, should, and will be. I’ve got one of the biggest Matt McLain baseball card collections you’d ever see in any private collection, and growing. Keep the faith and see what ‘26 has in store for our guys.
