Texas Rangers sign LHP Jordan Montgomery to 1-year deal, reuniting with former World Series hero

The Texas Rangers signed lefty starter Jordan Montgomery to a 1-year deal worth $1.25 million at the very start of spring training. Montgomery won the World Series with the Rangers in 2023 but signed with the Diamondbacks the offseason after. Texas expects Montgomery to return around the All-Star break after undergoing elbow surgery last spring.
