RAVENS CANNOT KEEP IGNORING THIS AT WR! | MUST CHANGE
Baltimore Ravens need to do a better job of balancing out their WR room. They need to not only add, but emphasize the involvement of bigger bodied WRs to pair with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. They’ve had Deandre Hopkins and Tez Walker, but they were seldomly used. So that’s why the talk of them potentially drafting USC Wide Receiver Makai Lemon, would not be the best move for this football team.

DECISION TIME.
If you’re the Ravens:
🔥 Draft Makai Lemon
📏 Prioritize a bigger body WR
Tell me WHY below 👇🏾
Yoo😮💨🔥how are u man??
😈😈😈
People talk about a big receiver, small receiver, white receiver, black receiver.
Just give me a dang receiver that can catch the ball and run routes consistently!
(I’ll take lemon and Ted hurst btw)
Reminder for everyone that Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, and JSN are all 6'0". You do not need to be 6'3" or 6'4" to be a dominant receiver.
That said if Carnell Tate is not there at 14 I don't want to see us draft a reciever until round 3. I like a lot of the guys I'm seeing mocked there (Skyler Bell, Malachi Fields, Chris Brazzell)
Only if we sign an elite pass rusher and RG in free agency will I be happy with a WRs drafted at 14 (Tate Ohio Wr)
Denzel Boston WR from Washington
Not for the 14th pick, they betta NOT💯💯
We need big bodies at wrs im tired getting old wrs man tired minter wins my respect the moment I see one on the team and oline
I genuinely think tez is a missing piece but harbs only wanted who he wanted in the scheme… maybe now those things can change a bit 🙂 I do think we need a new fresh strong receiver as well but we can't forget about how cooked these trenches are
@3:40 I put that more on ball skill than size, but if we take care of NEEDS in FA (guard, DT, edge), I’m all for Tate, Tyson or Lemon.
Taking care of NEEDS in FA truly allows BPA.
Who cares about height, Miles Boykin was 6'4" and you see how that worked out. We need a dogg thats gonna get open and catch the ball consistently and a coach that knows how to draw it up.
Engrave on what you are saying is Engraving what you are saying is things that people would think the Ravens did not know how to use the players that they already had on the team especially they receive us I need the and they fail to develop the wide receivers downfield
I wouldn't like us drafting Lemon. I think he's basically the same player as Flowers. If we're going to take a WR then I'd much rather have Tate. I think Tate is better than both Lemon and Tyson and is better at making contested catches. Personally I hope we don't draft any WR whatsoever with that 14th pick because I don't feel that it's a glaring need but if guys like Fano, Bain, Bailey, and that Penn St. guard (his name is too difficult to spell lol) isn't there then I wouldn't mind if we drafted a WR. I hope it doesn't have to come down to that though. I think at that point it'd be best to just trade back.
R.I.P. FLOCK MAN 88 & CAPTAIN DEFENSE FLOCK 4EVA 💪
Resign Linderbaum.
We need a big body receiver Lamar Slightly over throw his guy's a bigger guy would close the gap.
That pass rusher out of Auburn is a beast dude is 6’6 288
Let not forget Michael Pierce retirement that was a huge blow to are d line Michael Pierce not there hurt madubuike
I ain’t even thinking about a WR until my QB got some dang protection up in the trenches
Tez Walker is gonna cook next year
Yeah we need OL or DL with our first pick. Ted Hurst or Malachi Fields with the 3rd round would be nice, they might even be a 2nd rounder. I also think Bryce Lance from North Dakota State might be a nice late round or possibly undrafted pick. I know he was invited to the NFL combine, so maybe he might be drafted sooner too. The only way I see us taking a WR at 14 is if they don't plan on signing Flowers long term. Makes we wonder what the price would be for Flowers.
💜🖤
The only reason why I'd be ok not getting a receiver first due to the fact I think THIS coaching staff will unleash TEZ
NO EXCUSES..GIVE LAMAR THE KEYS!!..CANT TEACH HEIGHT!!..YOU CAN GET FASTER…BUT NOT TALLER..IM DONE SEEING 5'8 RECEIVERS!!!
It’s funny cause league average WR height is 6’0 it just comes down to them utilizing their own personal skill set. JSN is 6’0 but plays like he’s 6’2 Jamar Chase 6’0 plays way above his height. MIND YOU JUSTIN JEFFERSON is 6’0 too plays way above his height. Also drafting WR really depends on FA cause they can easily bring in Zietler and a many guys in FA to fix up the oline rather easily.
Size do matter if it don’t ask your girl, smaller receiver that are great in the NFL usually have to go above and beyond to get that way, but you can’t teach being 6’3”+ running a 4.4 40. We have Zay who a really good receiver but he has limitation and one of them is being too small, if a defender is able to stick with him in coverage throwing that pass could be risky. Lamar need a receiver that makes bad decisions good. Lamar literally has to throw perfect ball’s to open receiver or risk it being picked, when other QB with elite receivers can just throw the ball in the air and he knows his receivers is coming down with it. We don’t have that on the roster
What are we doing ? Are we drafting a receiver so we can save money and grab a max Crosby or we go draft a good defensive player and go get a AJ Brown, gotta stop saving these drafts picks in my opinion if we wanna win now !!
I like our guys. Fix the line and watch…
Amazing how some people don’t understand that a WR without protection for Lamar to get the ball to said receiver is ..pointless.. , why get weapons before making sure your ..Best Weapon.. is allowed about 3 seconds to make magic with his arm or legs..smh 🤦
How can Lamar throw to a wide out if he has 0.3 seconds to get rid of ball?
Shout out to FLOCKMAN88❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏. I know you will be cheering from heaven my friend. ❤
Alec Pierce for Baltimore would be elite
I’d rather draft a wide receiver on a rookie contract than to spend money in free agency on a wideout and we can get a vet og or resign dremont jones with that money.
I hope we trade the 1rd pick so we don’t make a stupid pick just trade for Crosby
😮
@Ingravens, what's ur opinion on getting say a JAUAN JENNINGS, and then an even bigger splash on the def side?
It’s the same way on every fan bases podcast common section, everybody gotta be right 🤦🏿♂️NO ONE is saying get a tall receiver just because he’s talll. lol…. makes NO sense at all. We all obviously talking about a good receiver like a young D hop or taller Moss Calvin J….But I personally would take someone 6 foot. I don’t think we go backwards and get another half pint like Zay
But again, everybody gotta be right …I’m cool with who can play well so foolish for people to bring up people like Boykins being tall but not really serviceable. That’s asinine, nobody is saying that. Great show dog Ingraven!👏🏿💪🏿✊🏿👿
It kind of hard for rookies to make an impact in their first year. Some do and some don't. Seems like rookie receivers generally have high impacts in first year, but I could only see that if they hit their needs in free agency. But fasho they should trade that 2nd round pick for a vet player, ravens been atrocious with 2nd rounders lol.
It's not about a taller receiver it's about acquiring (drafting, free agents, etc…) GOOD wide receivers. We've had taller receivers who were garbage. We haven't had that many GREAT or GOOD receivers of any size that have been that good
edc better dont
Lemon would be terrible pick. They need to pick someone in the trenches for starters. Also if you watch film of Lemon he’s not even close to as shifty as a Zay Flowers or as difficult to tackle as a Steve Smith to justify a pick that high
