Here’s a prediction. Nobody’s gonna get traded anywhere and the Canucks are gonna get screwed again.
O'Conner is the type of player the Canucks should be looking for, not trading.
You gotta keep some players. He's a decent player with that speed and skating. He's not "old"…unless a player is available they must have, that falls to them in this draft..you might just keep him.
What if his scoring developed more next season ? His value is boosted and you look at it then to maximize the asset.
Sign, or trade for next draft.
This rebuild… probably going to take a few years similar to other teams..the Sharks, Buffalo and Detroit come to mind.
