  4. Guys, McCarthy will be very fortunate if he comes out of training camp as the starter. KOC will do everything he can to have a new starter in 2026. He's not worried about McCarthy's feelings or whether he's a bust – Kwesi took the fall on that – he's now coaching for his own job. He's not rolling the dice if he has a say in it.

  6. I wouldn't do it, but it sounds like there is a very good chance Justin Fields is getting cut by the Jets. And God willing, I'll never have to watch Max Brosmer throw a ball in live game action ever again.

  9. KOC is gonna go down as a guy who needed a high end QB guy who was a mostly finished or finished project. I think we've given him far too much credit. Of course Kirk got better with him a bit.. KOC calls a pass game. Zimmer didn't even talk to him. Darnold was looking pretty decent with the Panthers, showed good signs as a 49ers backup, and looks better in Seattle than he was in MN, esp in big games. Now JJ is hard to develop? Maybe it's you, KOC. Playcalling has been getting every QB you've coached with the Vikings killed. How is JJ hard to coach if KOC didn't even spend legitimate time coaching him as a rookie? Then he spent half the season injured at 22 years old last year? Largely because KOC threw his young QB into the fire rather than trying to be balanced and ease him in. When was he supposed to develop? All these rumors stink of KOC camp leaking comments to try to save his bacon if he can't make it work. Any why can't he make it work? Because he simply won't do what other coaches around the league have figured out how to do, especially call a game in a manner that keeps a defense off balance and gives your QB legitimate chances to succeed, taking advantage of that. His pass game is predictable. Defenses know that's what he's running. They focus on stopping routes that run the depths and timing KOC continues to dial up. KOC has been FIGURED OUT by defensive coordinators.

  11. I'm right there with you, Mackey, on, this ridiculous poking at McCarthy, and people being annoyed because offensive was simplified for a young, talented 22 year old QB at the time. McCarthy thrived was this..he will keep getting better..plus his big time throw rate

  12. JJ McCarthy was the most inaccurate quarterback last year. He also embarrassed the team with his behavior so badly that he became a viral internet meme archetype for a terrible QB. That’s why people are already out on him, Mackey.

  13. Wentz came in without benefit of OTA's and training camp and did a stellar job! Imagine how good he could be if he has all of those sessions with KOC. Wentz is the good QB we need to compliment our D. WE could win a SB with him.
