We NEED to maintain our standard under new ownership.

Hopefully but if it’s Bezo’s I wouldn’t have too much hope.
We have no control over that
Does anyone know who exactly would be like a good replacement? I don’t trust any billionaires really but I damn sure don’t want a faceless parasitic private equity firm.
That’s going to be tough.
One of the best attributes of the Allens was knowing, (when), to stay out of the way and let the football people do their jobs.
Most modern age billionaires are sociopaths.
could be worse .. *gestures at clay Bennett*
They’re not really stepping into any shoes because their ownership isn’t dependent on success. They could be the worst owner in the country and they’ll still just be the owner as long as they want to be.
I completely disagree with the idea of a owner that thinks like this.
The best owners are the ones that mostly stay the heck away from the football side and just writes the checks. Any owner that thinks they personally need to step in and maintain any standard is going to start interfering and interfering in ways that is not helpful.
It’s gonna be likely be Bezos, remember, if you have a huge problem with it, there’s 31 other teams with horrid owners you can cling to.
Downvotes I see
I have long odds (hopes and dreams) that the culture and atmosphere of this team/city will remain strong no matter who owns the team.
Seahawks are much more than a team. It’s a commitment to community and raising people up to be the best that we can for each other. I Iove this state and this team and nobody better fnck with that.

Ive heard jody allen is a pretty good owner
I would also like to take this time to say fuck Ken Behring.
The Nordstroms weren’t bad owners, necessarily. I just think they were in over their heads. Their biggest mistake, of course, was selling the team to that worthless scum from CA.
Who is it even a question for? You would have to rip off all of john’s arms and legs to get past him on this
We need JS and MM to have MINIMUM 5 years of guaranteed employment as a sale requirement, if not more.
Good thing the determining factor is whether you have a huge pile money!
That should serve to filter out all the bad and incompetent people.
I’m a lot less concerned about it than it seems most in here are. The organization is in an incredible spot right now and whoever buys the team would have to be stupid to try to change a ton.
I also think it would be pretty shocking if the Allen estate sold without at least getting some assurances that the new owners won’t tinker. Of course once the sale goes through new ownership could do whatever, but I don’t see any reason to think that would happen.
Don’t worry guys I just offered them 500 bucks (all I have) and when i get in ill keep the train rolling and listen to the people.
I would love to see an analysis of how the Allen family ranks compared to other owners

What about Mackenzie Scott or Melinda Gates?
Can Jody just you know, buy it from the trust?
