  1. not sure about a one dimensional non-offensive defenseman at 5.6 mil per year. If he was a 40+ point guy with those defensive stats, heck yeah. Otherwise the potential contract is too high

  2. I'd say if you can get him for a Providence Bs player and a mid draft pick, then go for it. But I wouldn't trade Poitras, Aspirot or Lohrei for Schneider. Poitras still has good upside if he can find his confidence and defensemen like Lohrei would be better on the same team as Schneider.

    3. Jokiharju-Lohrei

    That would be my pairings when healthy

  3. Just depends how many future assets they have to give up for a one dimensional defenseman. At least he is not an AARP member like most other guys we seem to be looking at.

  4. Lohrie can be great. Peeke has no spot on this roster, having Schneider could be a huge push but only if it's better than fair. One peeke and one poitras for Schneider and a 2nd rounder makes sense to me
