So happy to see this kid balling out in the year 2026. I know he still has work to do, but it seems like his skill set is perfect for the way the Pacers want to play.

Also, those passes in last night’s game! 😮‍💨

  1. There are going to be a lot of apologies in order from Pacers fans. Haven’t seen this fan base hate on a homegrown player on their team as much as they have Jarace since the Myles hate during the Turbonis years.

Jarace started much slower than I wanted him to or expected, but I always felt like the skill set was there, and I’m happy to see it finally coming together to a degree.

  2. He didn’t start slow in his NBA career. He played out of position. Everytime he made a mistake Carlisle would not play him for weeks.

  3. He’s a volume guy. Can score in volume and make mistakes in volume.

The more he’s played the better (for the most part) he’s gotten. And young guys are like that.

Last year’s team (and the year before) played at an extremely high level.

Rick had the luxury of saying, “you play well, you get run. You don’t and you don’t.

No way Jarace gets time over toppin, mathurin or McConnell.

At best, he’s get 9th man time.

Next year, he should give toppin a run for the 6th or 7th.

    He’s playing well.

  4. It’s been great to see him explore his size as well. His size and strength make him a nightmare in a lot of matchups, and there have been some examples where he recognizes that against a smaller defender. Said physical gifts should see him crashing the boards to reduce opp possessions and his vision can make for great outlets as our guards leak out.

  5. PG: Haliburton, McConnell

    SG: Nembhard, Nesmith

    SF: Walker, Furphy

    PF: Siakam, Boozer

    C: Zubac, Huff

That looks like kind of an amazing roster. This doesn’t even include Obi (who can get a bunch of minutes between the 4 and 5) or Shep (who can get a bunch of minutes at guard/wing).

Or if we end up with a guy like Dybantsa, he could slot on really well also. Wilson could also work great, but I just don’t want Peterson. I think this team can be super deep next year, as long as Haliburton is back!

  6. Glad to see he’s picked himself up after the historically bad start to the season. Hopefully he keeps this play up

  7. Dude I literally just came here to make this post. His passing has been insane lately too. Hes going to be our x factor next year. So happy we didnt get rid of him. I love benn but walker was the right choice

  8. Jarace has had his ups and downs, but the potential is there. His size and passing ability give us an idea that he might have some unique ability. Will be cool to see him on the bench with a healthy team next year.

  9. He’s figuring it out. Still looks indecisive and timid at times but you’ll never yank me off of the Jerace train.

  10. Nah I don’t believe in him yet- has flashes but look deeper in his stats and he remains very inefficient. Shining on a tank squad isn’t enough to impress me.

I will 100% apologize though if I am wrong next year.
