The worst thing that could happen is giving up draft capital for a QB who is not only a statue in the pocket but makes Kirk Cousins look like Lamar Jackson. I’d rather get a QB that we don’t have to give up draft capital for in this draft. We have so many pending needs and need every pick we have. How about that QB whisperer and McCown who prides himself on great hair actually coach and not over coach the kid. Coach him in the off season and let him do his thing in the regular season. Sam Darnold was a good QB but was no Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson but he has something the other two don’t have a Super Bowl ring. It takes a great defense , O-line , running game and reasonable passing game with great special teams play. It’s a team game and bringing a statue in to play QB and giving up a crap ton (at least a 2nd round pick) is not feasible.
