1. Every time this show mentions mac jones the show's value goes down. They get hyper obsessed with specific names and mention them allllll the time. They aren't progressing towards the goal if they acquire him, they are heading towards mediocrity. Minnesota sports fans do not know how to not be mediocre. It's pathetic.

2. They don't demote or trade McCarthy. I'm so sick of hearing this BS. Kyler? Seriously the fan base is crazy. Mac freaking Jones wow! Insanity runs deep in this state.

16. Have we completely lost faith in the Vikings ability to draft players? When I think of first, second, and third round draft picks I'm thinking these guys should stand a very good chance of being substantial contributors in year one. For some reason it seems we aren't expecting that anymore.

17. I’ve gone from anti-trade greenard, to only trade him if you can pick up 2 decent picks, and manage to get R. Mason Thomas, or T.J. Parker.

18. I understand the Addison trade theories, but I just don’t see a HC on the hot seat trading away one of his best players for future picks that may or may not work out. KOC is absolutely in win now mode to save his job. Future picks have very little value to him at the moment. It makes more sense to pick up the fifth year option and trade him after this season, and hope his stock is up after a year of no incidents. no guarantee that happens, but risk/reward doesn’t add up giving him away for anything less than a second

21. These discussions need to include plans for year two and three also because extending expensive contracts out impacts free agency decisions this year. How can the Vikings be in win now mode for 2026 and forgetting out years? Only way that’s possible is if they totally tanked on purpose during 2025 and if that’s the case they botched that too (drafting at #18).

29. IMO I wouldn’t trade starters now that you have to replace. I field best team I can and see how season goes and evaluate at trade deadline. If winning then I keep them until 2027. If season is not going well then I would consider trading high value contracts then to needy teams that are in good position to make playoff runs. We would get the most out of 2027 draft picks from desperate teams trying to fill key injuries at trade deadline. I think we need 3 good DEs to get through a season with injuries. We were fortunate to have Turner available to cover lost snaps from AVG and JG last year.

33. When it comes to QB discussions I don’t think we should ever promise anyone QB1. HC should always do what gives team best chance to win. I like Flores attitude that players earn their opportunities. If you want to start then you have to out perform the other players at that position.

34. Forget the legal problems, Addison is clearly not a #1 receiver talent wise. He would be 2nd on any team in the league, not fast enough, drops too many balls and misses meetings.

39. Coaching up draft prospects is NOT always a bad thing. It could to make sure a great talent does not screw up in early conversations even though is a good guy just not good at the interview. You guys are only looking at one side of this.

40. I'm not even sure I'd trade Addison for a 2nd. But you're only likely to get that compensation THIS YEAR, because if you trade him after next year, nobody's going to want to give up a high pick as well as be prepared to resign him to a lucrative contract.
